Wild Fisheries Reform Consultation: Draft Spey Response

Wild Fisheries Reform Consultation: Draft Spey Response

The Scottish Government published its response to Andrew Thin’s Wild Fisheries Review on the 15th May 2015 and went out to consultation on the broad principles it wishes to consider as part of its programme of Wild Fisheries Reform.

The Spey Fishery Board and the Spey Foundation have now considered their draft response to this consultation, a copy of which can be found HERE. If there are any other issues that you think we should also consider within our response, please e-mail the Board’s Director, Roger Knight, at director@speyfisheryboard.com with your comments by Monday the 3rd August 2015.

We would also like to encourage as many people as possible to submit their own responses to this consultation, details of which can be found at http://www.gov.scot/Topics/marine/Salmon-Trout-Coarse/fishreform. In so doing, if you would like to draw upon the Spey’s response in answer to the questions that are raised within the consultation, please feel free to do so.
