South Esk study by Marine Scotland

This link http://www.gov.scot/Resource/0049/00497696.pdf opens the recently published report on the three year study by Marine Scotland on the River South Esk. The study, which was prompted by the decline in the spring stock in the river, investigated a number of different aspects including the spawning destination of spring fish, juvenile stocks, the effects of fishing effort on rod catches and the impact of mixed stock netting which operated along the adjacent coastline. It is sure to be an interesting read.
