Scottish Government Review of Wild Salmon Fisheries

The Scottish Government issued a press release today regarding the recently announced review of the wild salmon fishery in Scotland. Alex Salmond announced at the Tay Opening Ceremony that the review would be chaired by Andrew Thin, outgoing chair of SNH. The other panel members were mentioned with Jane Hope, retired Chief Executive of the Cairngorn National Park, one of three panel members along with Andrew Thin and Michelle Francis. The review is due to start soon and is expected to take six months to complete.
