PUBLIC MEETING

The Spey Fishery Board held its third Public Meeting at the Fleming Hall in Aberlour at 7pm. on the 5th September 2013.  The purpose of this Meeting, as with the earlier Meetings, was to share the results of our monitoring of the survival of juvenile fish stocked in 2011 and 2012, as well as the results of this year’s Electro-Fishing of juvenile numbers in the Mainstem and certain Tributaries.

The presentation on the electrofishing and juvenile stock status can be viewed here. The results of the expanded Genetic Analysis Project into the success of the Board’s stocking of Hatchery-reared fish were also presented.
