Major-General Bernard Gordon Lennox CB MBE

It is with great sadness that we report the death of Major-General Bernard Gordon Lennox CB MBE on the 27th December 2017 at the age of 85.

“The General”, as he was ubiquitously known, was a long-serving member of the Spey Board and made a substantial contribution to its work over many years of dedicated service. The Board is most grateful for all he did throughout his long involvement with the management of the River Spey and he will be remembered and sadly missed by many on Speyside. He retired from the Board in 2009 and was succeeded by his second son, Angus Gordon Lennox, who continues to make a similar and substantial contribution to the work of the Board.

We send our sincere condolences to the family and offer them our thoughts and prayers at this most difficult time.
