The Spey Fishery Board has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Project Officer to work as part of a team for the Scottish Invasive Species Initiative (SISI), which is a four-year Heritage Lottery Fund and Scottish Natural Heritage funded project in northern Scotland. This will involve delivering actions from the Project Activity Plan for the Spey, Findhorn, Nairn and Lossie catchment areas, working with the Project Manager through the implementation of key projects, ensuring that these are delivered within an agreed timeframe, to the required standard and within budget. The role will also involve developing effective liaison, communication and partnerships with land managers, community groups, gamekeepers, farmers, ghillies and other stakeholders to raise awareness and engagement with local biodiversity and reduce the threat from Invasive Non-Native Species (INNS).
